Meet Dr. Hsieh
Dr. Hsieh (pronounced Shay) is board certified in Family Medicine. She has special interests in adult medicine, women's health, and preventive medicine. Aware of the complexities and limitations in health care today, she provides health care that focuses on the patient's interests and needs. Doctor-patient communication is of utmost importance to her as well as the patient's understanding of their health care.
Dr. Hsieh grew up in Dallas, Texas. She attended Stanford University for her undergraduate education and graduated with a Bachelor's in Human Biology. For medical school, she attended Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. She then trained at University of California, Irvine for her family medicine residency. She was the recipient of the American Academy of Family Physicians Award for Excellence in Graduate Medical Education as well as Chief Resident in her family medicine residency. After residency, she moved to Seattle, where she resides with her daughter and husband, an attorney at Microsoft. Besides medicine, she loves to sing opera, practice the martial art of Naginata, and enjoy the beautiful pacific northwest parks and scenery.
Dr. Hsieh speaks Mandarin Chinese and Taiwanese.
